Robin Eggs
So small
Yet so big
In mother’s nest
Of sticks and twig.
Gently sleeping in their eggs
As blue as a baby’s eye
Dreaming, thinking of growing legs
And soaring through the sky.
Three robin eggs
In mother’s nest,
Robin babies
Quietly rest.
