Moonrise
Over the land
A strip of sky
A strip of sea,
A strip of sand.
Moon’s splendor
Yellow light
Shining on
All through the night
Over its beautiful
Pool of moonlight
Oceans glint
Sparkling blue
Shimmering the whole
Night through
Grass waving
In silver sand
Night time peace
Falls through
